Ananya stands as a revered Kambo Practitioner and knowledgeable mentor. Having undergone rigorous training and repeated initiations under the esteemed Peter Gorman and in the jungles with the Matsès Elders, she has been accepted as a living legacy entrusted to share generational wisdom with others by both Peter and The Matsès Tribe.
Ananya has established a transformative Kambo mentorship program along with a comprehensive Kambo Training manual for The IASP - The International Association of Sapo Practitioners that was founded in 1995 by Peter Gorman. She holds the esteemed title of Certified Kambo Teacher conferred by Peter Gorman himself, a honor bestowed upon Ananya in 2017. Upon Peter's passing in 2022, Ananya assumed the role of ownership of The IASP and has continued teaching in honor of her beloved mentor and friend, Peter Gorman.

Responsiblities as a leader
Becoming a healer is a profound journey, but taking on the role of a mentor adds an extra layer of responsibility. There are often unspoken expectations, some of which are realistic, while others can impose unrealistic ideals that dismiss our own human experiences.
Integrity in Healing
Healers need healing too... this is no secret! Me for example, I'm VERY opinionated. My belief around the judgments that come up for me is how far I have come in some areas, despite having so much farther to go. It's a journey and a process and at least I recognize my short-comings <-- see, potential judgment! The automatic implication here is that others don't see themselves or the areas in their life that could be improved upon and while I realize this just isn't true nor is it actually what I am saying when I speak of myself and my journey in that statement, but if I'm not careful about how I speak about me and my journey, it can become an outward projection that is not intended.
