An Evening with Albert Hofmann in 1983, by Don Rothenberg, interviewed by Will Nofke

A two hour interview recorded in 1983 by Don Rothenberg and published online by Erowid Center. The interview was organized and conducted by Will Nofke. This is an improved version, with a typo removed from the titles, audio hiss removed, the sound volume increased, and a short blank leader removed. The video was created by Don Rothenberg, the videographer, who contributed it to Erowid Center to upload to YouTube. The recording was conducted at Shared Visions in Berkeley, California. The blank leader at the start where the camera shoots a microphone and a plant with barely audible people milling about in a room with a unidentifiable song playing has been cut off because the supposed copyright holder of the song being played claimed ownership of the video because of that inaudibly-quiet garbled clip. Don notes that will Will Nofke and Shared Visions of Berkeley are no longer with us. At the time of this filming, he considered Shared Visions a courageous and ground breaking place that hosted and promoted important consciousness pioneers.
