Integrated into the Myco Lid Pro™ is a protective screen that allows for the separation of the substrate in the jar from the filter material chosen for gas exchange. This feature further protects your mycelium from contaminations caused by compromised filters.

With the capped air port, one can place any filter material of their choice within the Myco Lid Pro™, allowing for a more broad range of cultivation techniques to be utilized. Secure your filter in place with the screened cap to further protect your gas exchange medium from contaminations.
Sample Cultures like a Pro
Attach a dispensing needle to the integrated luer fitting on the Myco Lid Pro™ to allow for more efficient and sterile practices when repeatedly sampling your liquid cultures. No more tipping your jar or wearing out the self healing injection ports when sampling.

Non-Kink Design w/ Gasket
Metal Lids are only intended to be used once and plastic lids are intended for freezing purposes. Adding a gasket to plastic lids becomes a hassle because the typical plastic lids kink and move the gasket when screwed into place. The Myco Lid Pro™ is designed to be used with a separate locking band that moves independently of the lid when being screwed down tight. This circumvents any kinking and ensures a sterile seal.
