The Process

Ceremonial Master Plants The master plants we use in our medicinal ceremonies are often described by our participants as able to heal energetically, mentally, physically and emotionally. Peer-reviewed research has shown effective healing in cases with addiction, depression, anxiety, and many other ailments. We provide you the opportunity to have a ceremony experience in our family home, in an intimate, peaceful and nurturing environment. As well as in the beautiful surrounding nature of the Sacred Valley. For us safety and authenticity are of highest value, this is why we provide personal and intimate retreats with no more than 4/5 persons with much attention given to preparation and integration. Our Teacher Plant retreats are led by experienced maestros, who themselves work in service of the Teacher Plants. Our maestros (shamans) work humbly in their traditional methods, which we honor and support. It is our work to make sure that our retreats are well organized and founded on a mutual respect for all those involved. Spiritual guides will support you during your retreat with preparation, conversation and integration after the ceremony. We provide 3 healthy meals a day for our guests on rest days, a good breakfast only for those with evening Ayahuasca Ceremonies and fruits/bread and afternoon soup for those participants who have chosen a wachuma ceremony. It is important for us to provide our ceremonies on a flexible basis, depending on our guest’s requirements. So, if you need to make changes to your program during your duration here, we discuss and work together to ensure you receive what you need.

Our Sacred Valley Healing Retreat Spaces Willkamayu Spirit comes from Quechua roots, “Willkamayu” meaning Sacred river. During this stage of our cycle we feel a calling towards the Sacred Water Spirit flowing here in the Sacred Inka valley and a profound feeling to work with her… The Willkamayu river connects the Sacred Valley with the Amazonian jungle. For us it represent the communion between the ancient Andean and Amazonian traditions. She brings their powerful Teacher Plants together. The Sacred Water Spirit is cleansing, healing, connecting and purifying. The river is so powerful, she can transfer energy, she can move stones and rocks and flows into every grid. She reminds us of how the Teacherplants are connecting with us. The Sacred Water Spirit dances in our inner and outer landscapes, she gives life, she reminds and is a mirror for us. She brings us together and shares…

Our intentions with our Healing Ceremony Spaces in the Sacred Valley - To be close to and take care of nature: We are trying to create a sustainable environment - To share different types of ceremonies that connect us with ourselves, those around us and to divine Mother Nature - To share Sacred ceremonies with Master plants Ayahuasca and San Pedro/Wachuma - For our activities we work with the principle of Ayni. Ayni is about giving and receiving in balance; between people, between people and nature and people and the Cosmos. Relationships are the fundamental component in this principle. We would love to find a way to integrate this beautifully honest and humble way of interchange. We are asking a fixed gift for our activities to cover our costs and to build a sustainable project and community, but we are open to integrate a sliding scale - To give social support and to share with the Maestros who we work with and their community and with sustainable green projects - To support the sustainability of the Teacher Plants: the Ayahuasca vine, Chacruna and the San Pedro/Wachuma cactus

Our Accommodation We are working alongside local retreat centers who align to our values and standards of providing safe spaces and care from the hearts in a family home environment. These centers are self-contained with nice and simple guest accommodation being close to nature with garden and good catering services to provide healthy local produce and any to respond to any additional needs from our guests. We are located around Urubamba, a main market town of the Sacred Valley. Willkamayu Spirit collaborates with different retreat houses, where we host our intimate, personalised retreats. El Paraiso is located in Yanahuara, near Urubamba, about an hour and a half away from Cusco. The house has its own hummingbird garden, is surrounded by nature with a river flowing nearby, and it is at the feet of a protected nature reserve, Mantanay. The retreat space is owned by the Puma family, and they have created the space themselves. You can feel the love and the beautiful energies that they put into creating it. The energies are very fresh and pure there.

Inner Child Online Workshop

The practice of Inner-Child work is a gift to ourselves. In essence it’s a beautiful healing tool which we can use at any time, for self-empowerment on the most profound of levels. What is the Inner Child? Inner Child work is a tangible and adaptive therapy technique that can be explained quite simply and continually developed by oneself following completion of the workshop. Often we carry wounds and trauma from birth and childhood with us into adulthood and these wounds play out in habit patterns, behaviours, beliefs and thoughts that no longer serve us, trapping us in repeated loops and life lessons that we continually deny ourselves the ability to be free from. Our Inner Child is intuition, creativity, spontaneity, play, loving acceptance of ourselves and all beings; our pure essence within. Re-establishing a connection with our inner child takes time, dedication, patience and this workshop provides the tools to be able to make contact with your inner child, initiate a relationship with them and learn the re-parenting techniques to be able to nurture and build a trust relationship, cultivating a life practice in self healing. Inner child work is a powerful integration tool which compliments plants diets, work with the Master Plants Ayahuasca and San Pedro (Wachuma) Cactus; it is universal, compatible with all daily practices, enhancing healing potential without restriction or limitation. Participants from our workshops have mentioned additional insights from their current practices, expansive life improvements and profound healing towards wholeness.

Reiki 1 & 2 Online, Usui Natural Healing Method

Reiki, an intelligent energy! Reiki is the name given to an ancient healing art system which was developed by Dr. Mikao Usui. It is a Japanese word of two syllables, which mean: REI pronounced “ray” = Universal Spirit or essence, and KI pronounced “key” = Life Energy, Light or Chi (as in Tai Chi) Therefore, Reiki (“ray-key”) means Universal Spirit of Life, or Universal Life Energy — the energy of life that is all around us and continually flowing through us, a divine intelligent energy. The Universal energy of Reiki is a particular frequency that permeates all life, although we do not ordinarily perceive this energy on a visual level, quantum physics has been able to recognise this energy and measure the frequency. Our mystic ancestors have known the existence of healing power since ancient times… Reiki is not a religion, nor is it associated with any religion, sect or cult, and it is not based on creeds or beliefs contradictory to the Universal Laws of Light. Reiki embraces all philosophies and systems of thought. Reiki 1 Usui natural healing method (2 online meetings of around 2 hours) You will learn: - what Reiki is - the basic principles of Reiki - the ethics of giving Reiki - the hand positions - you will receive the Reiki 1 initiation There will be time to share questions and we will give attention to your needs regarding learning Reiki, so we can make a personalized sharing according what you would love to learn regarding energy work. Before the online meetings you will receive the Reiki reader so you can study before we meet (study is around 2 hours). Reiki 2 Usui natural healing method (2 online meetings of around 2 hours) You will learn: - 3 Master symbols - 5 symbols - how to clean a space energetically - how to perform distance healing - you will receive the Reiki 2 initiation - we will share about the Reiki 1 experiences Before the online meetings you will receive the Reiki reader so you can study before we meet (study is around 2 hours).
