Initial Contact and Discovery Phone Call: Begin your journey with Mariposa Counseling Center by giving us a call. During this initial conversation, we aim to understand your immediate needs and answer any questions you may have about our services. Discovery Session: Following the phone call, we’ll schedule a discovery session. This session is designed to delve deeper into your health history and current challenges. It’s a space for you to share your story, concerns, and what you hope to achieve through therapy.

In-depth Health Assessment and Treatment Planning Goals and Intention Setting: Together, we’ll clarify your goals and intentions for therapy. This process helps ensure that the treatment plan aligns with your vision for personal growth and healing. Comprehensive Health Assessment: An in-depth health assessment will be conducted to gather a holistic view of your physical, emotional, and psychological health. This assessment informs the treatment options presented to you. Selecting Treatment Options: Based on the assessment, we’ll discuss treatment options that may include individual counseling, couples/family counseling, life coaching, plant therapy services, microdosing guidance, or psychedelic-assisted therapy, tailored to your specific needs. Treatment Plan Development: A personalized treatment plan is developed, detailing the approaches and methodologies we will use to address your concerns.

This training is designed for mental health practitioners in the healing professions that would like to learn about psilocybin-assisted therapy (PAT) and how it can benefit clients suffering from depression, anxiety, PTSD, chronic pain, frozen grief, self-esteem/shame/guilt, relationship issues, anger, and addiction. The first day of training offers theoretical understanding and knowledge of the history and application of PAT. The second day is an experiential day of training as either a participant or as a guide. If you would like to be a guide and bring a client as a participant, you qualify for a discount on your training registration (see below). Catherine Warnock · MA, LPCC, NCC, she/her

Catherine is a Licensed Professional Clinical Mental Health Counselor registered in the state of New Mexico and a Licensed Professional Counselor registered in the states of Texas and Colorado. She obtained her Masters in Counseling from the University of Colorado, Denver. Prior to pursuing her graduate degree, Catherine had a career as a Forensic Scientist working as a DNA analyst and a Crime Scene Technician for over 10 years. This experience continues to be helpful in that she can provide a logical and/or emotional perspective depending on what best meets her client’s needs. Catherine is the founder of Emotional Triggers Treatment (ETT). She developed this treatment to help clients resolve the stuckness that many of her clients were experiencing. Earl Cason · MS, he/they

Earl Cason is a dedicated and passionate mental health counselor in training, currently in the final year of a Clinical Mental Health Counseling degree at NMSU. His unique blend of traditional counseling approaches, deep appreciation for Eastern philosophies, and an interest in transpersonal psychology highlight his holistic approach to mental health. Informed by a strong academic background in counseling, as well as personal interests in mindfulness, narrative therapy, and psychodynamic therapy, Earl is committed to developing therapeutic practices that honor the complex interplay between mind, body, and spirit. He values and incorporates multicultural competence and a neurodivergence affirming approach into his practice, alongside a keen interest in working with couples and families. Earl's prior education includes a master's degree in electrical engineering, and he brings experience from his time at USAF and NASA into his counseling approach. This analytical background informs his practice and enables him to uniquely bridge the gap between science and emotion. Earl is an experienced life coach who has led workshops related to emotional well-being. His background in this area broadens his perspective, enabling him to effectively support clients through their therapeutic journeys while maintaining the necessary boundaries between counseling and life coaching roles. In addition, Earl has pursued focused training in biofeedback and neurofeedback techniques. This specialized knowledge supplements his foundational understanding of mind-body connections, offering a unique dimension to his counseling approach.
