Initial Contact and Discovery Phone Call: Begin your journey with Mariposa Counseling Center by giving us a call. During this initial conversation, we aim to understand your immediate needs and answer any questions you may have about our services. Discovery Session: Following the phone call, we’ll schedule a discovery session. This session is designed to delve deeper into your health history and current challenges. It’s a space for you to share your story, concerns, and what you hope to achieve through therapy.

In-depth Health Assessment and Treatment Planning Goals and Intention Setting: Together, we’ll clarify your goals and intentions for therapy. This process helps ensure that the treatment plan aligns with your vision for personal growth and healing. Comprehensive Health Assessment: An in-depth health assessment will be conducted to gather a holistic view of your physical, emotional, and psychological health. This assessment informs the treatment options presented to you. Selecting Treatment Options: Based on the assessment, we’ll discuss treatment options that may include individual counseling, couples/family counseling, life coaching, plant therapy services, microdosing guidance, or psychedelic-assisted therapy, tailored to your specific needs. Treatment Plan Development: A personalized treatment plan is developed, detailing the approaches and methodologies we will use to address your concerns.

Treatment Sessions and Aftercare Support First Treatment Session: Your treatment journey officially begins with the first session, focusing on safety, harm reduction, and establishing a trusting therapeutic relationship. Ongoing Support: Regular sessions are held as part of your treatment plan, with adjustments made as needed to ensure the therapy remains responsive to your evolving needs. This training is designed for mental health practitioners in the healing professions that would like to learn about psilocybin-assisted therapy (PAT) and how it can benefit clients suffering from depression, anxiety, PTSD, chronic pain, frozen grief, self-esteem/shame/guilt, relationship issues, anger, and addiction. The first day of training offers theoretical understanding and knowledge of the history and application of PAT. The second day is an experiential day of training as either a participant or as a guide. If you would like to be a guide and bring a client as a participant, you qualify for a discount on your training registration (see below).
