Altered States Integration is an online organization for psychedelic education, integration, & risk reduction. Tobey and Elizabeth believe in the healing power of altered states when used in a conscious and considerate way. Psychedelics are an excellent tool for reaching deeper levels of personal growth and potentiate change when used mindfully. They bring over 12 years of collective experience to their psychedelic coaching, pre-trip safety assessments, and integration aftercare services. They offer free & low cost, on-demand webinars and articles on harm reduction and psychedelic benefit maximization.

The Process

STEP

Altered States Integration coaches are highly experienced and come from a variety of backgrounds just like you. Peer coaches are trained in a type of psychological inquiry called Motivational Interviewing that relies on the clients innate ability to problems solve. This helps remove any personal biases the coach may have clearing the path for maximum discovery. Our integration coaches also have personal experience journeying in non-ordinary states of consciousness and guiding them. We are passionate about psychedelic harm reduction and volunteer at festivals providing psychedelic first aid.

Are you someone who wants to create a community around psychedelic integration and activism? It is our goal to seed future psychedelic clubs and societies with skilled and passionate integration facilitators all over the world. To accomplish our goal, we have created Start2Finish DIY Psychedelic Integration Circle: Workshop & Leadership Course, an 8 week group coaching workshop that guides students from start to finish in creating a Psychedelic Integration Support Group in your area - even if they have no idea where to start. This workshop aims to give psychedelic advocates the skills they need to build healthy and ethical psychedelic communities focused on integration and ethical leadership. We teach our students how to navigate common difficult situations that arise in support groups and share the exact formula and guidelines that we use to run our own psychedelic support groups.

Skills for Designing Your Psychedelic Career

While psychedelics are now coming into focus in the public lens, there is still an unclear path to becoming a psychedelic practitioner. There are more and more one-time or weekend long training courses that can be additive to the skills of the advanced practitioner. However, most of these courses don’t fully prepare a person for the complex world of psychedelic support. Longer courses offered through organizations like MAPS, are for current professionals that usually hold degrees. What about the inexperienced entrepreneur who has not yet obtained advanced degrees, or those who are not interested in taking the academic route?
