The Process
STEP
1
Call, email, or message us for a free consultation, so we can ask you some basic questions and get your medical history to confirm you are a candidate for Ketamine treatment. If you are a candidate we will then schedule your first infusion appointment. Before you come to our clinic, please gather any updated medical records and/or lab work. We will work closely with your current provider to develop a treatment plan that is best suited for you.

Our physician will confirm your history and address any concerns or questions. The doctor will place a small IV catheter for your treatment. You will relax in a comfortable chair
(we encourage you to bring items for comfort - headphones, music, blanket etc). During your infusion, a board-certified anesthesiologist will closely monitor your vital signs (heart rate and rhythm, blood pressure, and oxygen level) and take care of you. While getting the infusion, some people may experience some nausea or dizziness. If you experience this, we are equipped to treat it with an IV dose of an anti-nausea medication. Following your infusion, you will have a recovery period of 30 minutes or longer. Once you feel ready to head home, you will need to be driven by another individual. The effects of ketamine wear off quickly once the infusion is stopped, but we still ask that you refrain from driving or operating machinery until the following day

Post infusion some patients report feeling tired, but feel well the next day. Please do not drive, operate machinery, or go to work after your treatment. Once you complete the initial series of six infusions over 2-3 weeks, we can talk to your physician about your treatment and your progress. Working together with your provider will benefit your treatment outcomes. Upon completion of your initial series of infusions, we will schedule your follow-up visit.

Most patients experience positive effects from Ketamine treatment. The duration of therapeutic effects varies from 1- 6 months. We can offer you a single maintenance infusion when you start experiencing the return of your symptoms. For most patients, every consecutive treatment of a single infusion is enough to provide relief of symptoms for a certain period of time.
