The Process

Here at Thrive Center for Health we do request potential patients to provide their diagnosis; if you are looking into treatment for Mood we request this information from either your Therapist, Psychiatrist/Psychologist, or Primary Care Physician. If you are looking into treatment for Chronic Pain we request a diagnosis from either your Primary Care Physician or Pain Specialist, along with your most recent progress note, and current care plan for your pain.

Once diagnosis documentation has been received we schedule you with a provider based consultation which runs 45-60 minutes long. We do collect the consultation fee at time of scheduling and it is a non-refundable fee. During the provider based consultation the provider will review your health history, family health history, any medications you are currently on or have previously taken. From there our provider determines whether they feel you are a candidate for treatment. If so they begin devising your individualized treatment plan.

For Mood we typically have patients begin with a psychotherapy session with our in-house therapist, unless they have one of their own that they are currently working with. From there the patient has 6 initial infusions, 2 a week over the span of 3 weeks. Each infusion is scheduled out for an hour and fifteen minutes. We do offer psychotherapy integration sessions, which we encourage patients to schedule in between some of their infusion appointments of their initial series. Following the 6 initial infusions we have all patients have a follow-up visit about 2 to 3 weeks out from their initial series with the provider to see how they are doing and determine whether the individual should proceed with maintenance treatment, and if so advising them in what the provider feels would be best for the patient at this time.
For Chronic Pain it depends on the patient and their specific case. Sometimes we have patients come in two times within the same week for 4 hour long infusions for their initial series. Other times we find that patients can come in for 1 initial 4 hour infusion and proceed with maintenance as needed. Often times these patients come in for maintenance every 4-12 weeks.

We also provide weekly Therapist ran Support Talks to help patients connect with other patients and to help integrate whatever has been coming up for them recently throughout their treatment process or in their day-2-day life!
