Shannon Myers, MS, CRC, CMHIMP, is a Trauma-Informed Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, Certified Mental Health Integrative Medicine Provider, MAPS Approved Psychedelic Integration Provider, a Somatic Experiencing Intermediate Practitioner, Karuna Ki Reiki Master and Teacher, Usui Holy Fire Reiki Master and Teacher, Member of the American Center for Spiritually Transformative Experiences, an Adjunct Professor, a University Visiting Lecturer, Former Research Fellow, and Founder of Shannon Myers Consulting LLC, The Integrative Counselor, and Decrim Iowa. She founded a local and private virtual practice in 2012 dedicated to the service of those on a root-cause healing journey. She has served and trained tens of thousands of clients healing across the world. She has trained in Polyvagal Theory, Integrative Medicine for Mental Health, Internal Family Systems, Safe and Sound Protocol, Somatic Experiencing, and is a current shamanic apprentice. She traverses both neuroscience and transpersonal modalities to bridge the gaps between science and spirituality/non-duality with an eclectic and integrative style. Her expertise is in Trauma-Informed resolution through body-based practices and nervous system retraining. She coaches clients across the world to prepare for psychedelic experiences from a Harm Reduction Model and also helps clients integrate psychedelic experiences for lifelong transformation. Shannon has experience in integrating beautiful and confusing egoless disintentifying experiences, difficult psychedelic experiences, helping those with mental health and Trauma to integrate their psychedelic experiences, as well as, can assist folks to integrate traumatic psychedelic experiences.

Psychedelic Integration & Psychedelic Preparation for Harm Reduction

Shannon provides psychedelic integration coaching services to individuals and groups both in-personal locally and virtually across the world through HIPPA compliant and a secure telehealth platform for folks desiring to integrate their psychedelic experiences for lifelong healing, growth, and transformation. She practices within an integrative Trauma-Informed and Harm Reduction Model. She has experience in preparing folks for psychedelic experiences from a Harm Reduction Model, and in integrating psychedelic experiences for transformation, as well as experience in integrating challenging and traumatic psychedelic experiences. All of Shannon's work is Trauma-Informed and somatic body-based.
