Shakti fosters movement from post-traumatic stress to post-traumatic growth through the mobilization of the body’s innate intelligence to heal and through ancient technologies of animism, tantra, kundalini yoga, and the sacred use of psychedelics. Shakti’s private counselling practice focuses largely on EMDR therapy and IFS that incorporates inner child work to heal dissociative and behavioural patterns that develop out of traumatic experiences. She is committed to helping clients in all stages of their journeys - be it finding relief from distress, making meaning out of trauma, or accessing vital life force energy for feeling vibrant, blissful, and full with the joy of living.

The Process

STEP

This describes the process for Psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy (PAP). Some people may require less preparatory work and integration support (e.g., seeking spiritual awakening or cosmological exploration; no unprocessed trauma). Please contact for information on single ceremonies. • Preparation: - Discovery call - 1 hour - Health screening - Orientation – 1-1/2 hours - 75-minute counselling session (psychotherapy assessment and counselling session may include installing grounding tools and inner child work, etc.) Goals of preparation: Empowered with information to determine if the Sacrament is safe and right for you Knowing what to expect to relax into and welcome the experience Create the space to integrate the experience and develop tools to support integration

• Ceremony: - 3-hour medicine ceremony Ceremonies are facilitated with reverence and humility using the Sacrament that has the potential for the experience of Samadhi - the highest state of consciousness with accompanying bliss and peace as the Self is absorbed into the Infinite (Oneness)

Integration: - Two post-ceremony check-ins - 75-minute integration counselling session 2 weeks after ceremony - 50-minute maintenance counselling session 4-6 weeks after ceremony Integration is intended to maximize neural pathway, nervous system, and behavioural change Check-ins and supportive counselling give vital information to make sense of what might come up Assistance moving excess energy - reiki or guiding shamanic energy work Emotional regulation - revisiting tools learned in preparation
