The Root Healing team is made up of experts whose lives were radically changed by Iboga. When Root Healing was created over five years ago, we established a mission that remains central to our work today: to create the safest and most supportive container that intentionally connects the right people with this powerful medicine - and consequently, themselves. We honor the traditional Bwiti framework as our primary foundation, while also being informed by medical science, our own lived human experience, hospitality, and more to provide the most effective support in empowering you along this path. Over the years, working with thousands of people through their processes with these medicines, we have identified both improvements to our normal offerings, and also developed new ones so we are able to support people where it is really needed. Here are some of the ways we offer support: BASSÉ ROOT (USA): Our 501c3 nonprofit church, Bassé Root, is dedicated to sharing the Missoko Bwiti tradition and its sacred sacrament within the United States. We offer retreats, educational events, and spiritual care programs, all guided by the conviction that this path is a powerful antidote to our modern crisis of disconnection. RH EUROPE: Our European branch provides traditional retreats and spiritual care programs, thoughtfully developed and facilitated by our entire international team. SPIRITUAL CARE: We offer comprehensive support for every phase of your journey, from initial research and preparation to post-retreat integration. PRIVATE RETREATS: For a more personalized experience, our team can facilitate a private retreat for you or your group, either by hosting you or traveling to your location. ONSITE AFTERCARE: Launching in 2026, this dedicated program will provide crucial onsite support for individuals immediately following an Iboga retreat or Ibogaine treatment to help solidify their experience and ensure lasting change. No matter where you are in this process, we're here to help. At Root Healing retreats, we are dedicated to helping you heal, let go of the past, and discover the truth of who you are and what you want. Our hope is that iboga can end your healing journey, so that you can focus on being fully present and enjoying the gift of life. We pair the profound traditional way of holding Bwiti ceremonies with western medical practices to ensure a safe & transformative iboga experience.

Root Healing Iboga Retreats

Our 8-day retreats are deeply anchored in a time-honored spiritual tradition. For those unfamiliar, this tradition has utilized a particular plant as a sacrament for millennia. This plant, often referred to as the "Master of all plant medicines," is employed for physical and spiritual healing, as well as spiritual exploration. The most recognized component found in the roots of this plant is renowned for its anti-addictive qualities, especially towards opiate addiction. This component has gained attention globally, regardless of its legal status in certain areas. However, the plant contains numerous other components, some of which exhibit even more potent anti-addictive effects. These components collectively contribute to the profound spiritual, mental, and physical healing for which the tradition uses the plant. Our retreats are guided by our skilled practitioners, who are well-versed in this specific tradition. This ensures a comprehensive and potent experience for attendees. Besides our traditional experts, we have a team of medical, scientific, and hospitality professionals ensuring a secure and welcoming environment. Each retreat features two ceremonies with the plant, integration activities, therapeutic services, health screenings, orientation sessions, spiritual rituals, counseling, nourishing meals, comfortable accommodations, transportation services, educational gatherings, and follow-up discussions.
