I worked with under-served populations struggling with trauma, depression, anxiety, addiction, and other social stressors.
I’m a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and have been supporting people with psychedelic prep and integration for the past 7 years. I started up the psychedelic society here and host integration circles and psychedelic cannabis circles through Neuma (www.neumacentre.com).
I have been trained in Ketamine- Assisted Psychotherapy, Psychedelic Cannabis (Medicinal Mindfulness), Somatic and Relational Psychedelic Therapy, and am also a Therapsil Trainer and supervisor and have supported an individual with a legal psilocybin session with a Section 56 exemption.
I have a degree in Criminology and Psychology at The University of Ottawa.
I have personal experience with psychedelics in a ceremonial setting and have received my own psychotherapy for safe and effective use of self (and integration). I’m familiar with the MAPS protocol for MDMA therapy as well as the ZENDO guide for psychedelic harm reduction. I have extensive knowledge of psychedelics from reading and attending various conferences. At conference, I also took part in experiential activities for psychedelic harm reduction. I regularly practice yoga, mindfulness, and meditation. I am a songwriter, musician, and published poet.
I’m familiar with Transpersonal psychology and Stan Grof as well, which I find is a good framework to understanding people’s experience, promote the use of art, music, dancing, meditation, etc for people who are integrating. I have presented in Berlin and Prague for Beyond Psychedelics and Altered Conference for talks on Integration, Harm Reduction, and Education in the field of psychedelics.
