At Pala Medicine we help our clients take advantage of ketamine’s powerful psychedelic healing potential — which is known to play a key role in helping transform one’s life to be free from addiction, depression, PTSD, OCD, anxiety, suicidality, or chronic pain. We curate a highly effective set and setting to create a supportive therapeutic environment for the duration of the treatment. Dr. Suraiya incorporates evidence-informed techniques to create the most appropriate treatment plan for the client, utilizing appropriate scales to monitor progress and anticipate the need for additional sessions. We strongly believe in the importance of integration following a psychedelic journey. Therefore, every session includes in-person and follow-up integration sessions at no additional cost.

Medical Evaluation: An in-person comprehensive medical evaluation at our beautiful office in Pasadena, California

Preparation: A detailed preparatory Zoom call with a Certified Psychedelic Integration Coach

Ketamine Therapy: Typically a series of 4-6 ketamine therapy sessions, provided by Dr. Suraiya Rahman, a board-certified physician. We provide 'gold standard' IV (intravenous) as well as intra-muscular IM sessions. We curate each session with careful attention to set and setting. Our offices are spacious and comfortable, never clinical feeling. Each session includes in-person integration following the journey.

Integration: In recognition of the vital importance of integration, we include a follow-up integration call via Zoom (2-3 days following the in-office journey), with a Certified Psychedelic Integration Coach. Your coach has 15+ years of psychedelic experience and has worked with hundreds of clients to help them integrate their ketamine journey experiences, leading to improved long-term outcomes.
