Nimea Kaya is a leading Ayahuasca Healing Center in Pucallpa, Peru. Blessed by our location in the Amazon jungle, we draw from the local expertise of traditional Shipibo healers whose knowledge, compassion and dedication to their healing work are beloved by our participants. Founded in 2008, the calling to create a space of safety, integrity, comfort & support became paramount to be able to share this healing with all of those seeking. Our vision and mission here at the Nimea Kaya is to provide a loving and nurturing environment where people may participate in a variety of healing modalities for deep healing and transformation. We offer 9 Day Retreats with 4 Ayahuasca ceremonies with both male and female Shipibo Curanderos along with other native plant medicines and holistic modalities. Our experienced team of healers and facilitators assist people in their healing process from a variety of issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, grief and chronic physical ailments. We have been infinitely grateful to have witnessed an abundance of successful transformations in those that work with Ayahuasca at Nimea Kaya. At Nimea Kaya we also focus on raising awareness in the preservation of shamanic traditions, local indigenous cultures and the Amazon Rainforest. Our proprietary outreach program, the Selva Spirit Association, helps to build clean water projects in local villages while simultaneously working to preserve local indigenous cultures. Our mission is to uphold the integrity of the traditions and wisdom carried down by the powerful healers of the Shipibo lineages, holding the flame of this ancient knowledge so that these healing practices may continue unabated in the future.

The Process

STEP

1

We have an extensive intake form and screening process which includes several questions related to health history, medication use, psychological inquiries, past experience with psychedelics, intentions for working with Ayahuasca and more. To ensure the safety of all guests participating, the application forms are reviewed personally by the owner of the Center and additional members of our medical staff if needed. Additional screenings and consultations are coordinated when necessary.

In addition to the Preparation page on our website, We also give a Preparation Guide to our guests after booking their space with additional preparation recommendations and resources. We offer a group preparation call three weeks before the retreat and one on one personalized preparation calls.

The sacred journey each participant will go through will be unique unto them. Each ceremony will be different than the other ceremonies as well, as it is considered a “journey” of healing. Often times the medicine will work first by cleansing the physical body of toxins via the purging process. Once much of theses layers are shed, the medicine may then take you deeper into the realms of emotional, psychological and spiritual healing and expansion. Ayahuasca often will take you into realms where your shadow side must be faced. It is here where deep healing takes place. In our western societies, we learn how to suppress emotions and traumatic experiences. This ultimately holds us back in life from living in the balance and harmony we seek. Ayahuasca allows for the opportunity to cleanse these accumulated imprints and unhealthy patterns in life. By going into the roots of these issues and bringing them to the surface, Ayahuasca allows them to be purged out. Since Ayahuasca is an intelligent plant spirit and can work within multiple dimensions, she often will work symbolically and metaphorically during the healing process. Experiencing ones consciousness becoming disorientated is normal and common. This could be considered symbolic of releasing the ego that will then allow particular purges/releases to follow. This is a beautiful opportunity to see yourself from a different perspective that allows deeper transformation. It is normal for the “processing” of energies and purging to continue in between the ceremonies throughout the daytime. This work can be exhausting on the physical body so it is good to make sure you rest well during the day. Visionary experiences during the ceremonies can be very powerful as well. These visionary realms may include geometric patterns, bright kaleidoscopic movements of energy, seeing into the plant and animal kingdoms, seeing spirits, etc. Although this may come on very early for some guests and not for others, the visionary aspect is not the focus of the experience as often the healing takes place on much deeper levels. The experience that unfolds is ultimately up to the Medicine and the participant and is dependent on the unique personal experiences that one has accumulated in life. After participants move through releasing these layers of dis-ease they will often experience feelings of gratitude and love. Profound realizations are revealed regarding one’s life and how events in the past could have been approached differently. Insights are gained on how to proceed in life to live a more fulfilled, harmonious, and healthy lifestyle. Guests may reach higher states of consciousness where communication with the spirit world, their guides or angels, or loved ones that have passed over may occur. The variety of experiences are vast, including feeling intimately connected to the Universe, feeling their DNA upgraded, Kundalini awakening, seeing into past lives, divine cosmic connections with the plant and animal kingdoms, or simply the raising of energetic frequencies.
