Tembo · Bwiti Father
Tembo is a Nganga Missoko, a Franco-Gabonese hypnotherapist, musician, and former member of the international traditional Gabonese dance troupe Mbeng Ntam. He was initiated 25 years ago in Gabon and has since embarked on an initiatory journey that has taken him across Africa and the West.
In 2004, he moved to Europe and began leading Iboga personal development seminars as the right-hand man of his spiritual father. In 2015, he received permission from his peers to administer the sacred plant and subsequently trained in hypnotherapy and the patient/therapist relationship.
Today, with his extensive experience and knowledge, Tembo leads his own Iboga retreats with a therapeutic approach that respects tradition. He has worked extensively with both Africans and Europeans in workshops, seminars, and the ceremonial space, and is deeply experienced in the theory, practice, and science of African initiation culture.

Many years in the Bwiti,

Muradiakombe · Mabundi
I’ve heard about Iboga for the first time from my father who attended the retreat in Czech Republic with Tembo’s parents. Tembo himself, I firstly met when he was doing the work with the Bwiti and Iboga in Czech Republic in 2019. I have to say, all my life I was searching for such an experience and such a person. That time I was dealing with mental health and relationship with my mother.
Thanks to work in the retreats and in the daily life, I advanced in my life and started to feel the real happiness. After work with Tembo in the retreats I decided to be a helper during the retreats. When I could be part of the team, even just cooking in the kitchen for the people, I apricated to see the people to be healed. I helped in each retreat for 2 years.
Bwiti tradition has interested me so much and the work people with Iboga and such a Nganga can do, I did not only help in the retreats, but I also participated in the traditional ceremonies and continued my spiritual path. Finally, I decided to be initiated in the Bwiti Misoko Ngonde (the Maboundi path for women) with Tembo and his wife Julie in Gabon. That was in November 2022.
The experience of initiation in Gabon motivated me to continue this journey and be a part of organization team of the retreats in Czech Republic. In the Czech Republic we standardly organize retreat for 4 days 4 times a year. This work is spiritual, psychological, physical, and mental. Even it is just 4 days, the work worths it and can change life, like mine. 😊

Mamba · Nganga
Having first participated in an Iboga ceremony in 2017, Noah was amazed by sheer power and uniqueness of Iboga and the Bwiti. Although he had worked with other medicines, none seemed to compare to the experience he had while on Iboga. Noah, deciding to work with the medicine again, travelled with his mother the following year to meet Tembo and Mudanga in Central America.
The Ceremony was nothing short of a miracle, for it saved the life of Noah's mother, and saved Noah from a near psychotic break. After the Ceremony, Tembo invited Noah to go to Gabon that summer and be Initiated into the Bwiti. So he went, and while in Gabon, during the summer of 2018, Noah received his initiate name, Mamba.
Since being Initiated, under the guidance of his spiritual father, Mamba has helped facilitate retreats in the Czech Republic, Central America, and Spain.
