New Life Ketamine Clinic provides Ketamine infusion therapy for patients who suffer from severe depression, major depressive disorder, and treatment-resistant depression. Located in Dayton, our ketamine clinic is operated by experienced and compassionate providers. We offer safe, carefully monitored ketamine infusions in a comfortable environment. New Life Ketamine Clinic is one of the first practices to offer this groundbreaking new treatment to patients in Dayton, Cincinnati and Southwest Ohio. The Process

STEP

Phone Screening - We will go over your medical history and learn about your journey and the medicines you are taking to determine if you are a good candidate and if ketamine is a safe option for you.

STEP

In-Person Consultation: We will have the patient complete a PHQ-9 and a GAD-7 to get a baseline. We will thoroughly go over medical history. The patient will have a urine drug screen to make sure we are keeping the patient safe from any interactions with non-medically necessary drugs. We will cover the benefits and risks of IV ketamine, and potential side effects and discuss the treatment plan for your specific case.

STEP

If you determine that you want to proceed with IV Ketamine treatment, we will treat you in a comfortable reclining chair and place an IV in your arm. We will set up the monitoring equipment to check your vitals during your infusion and keep you safe. We then mix the dose of ketamine and place it in a pump to slowly infusion you over a 40 minute period. You are being monitored the entire time via video. After the infusion ends, we will have you rest fro 15-30 minutes and then you are ready to leave with your driver. It is imperative that you not drive for 8 hours after an infusion. We will set up 5 more treatments for you to finish the course of 6 infusions. Most patients get the benefit they need with 6 infusions. On rare occasions, patients need a couple more infusions to get the full relief they are looking for.
