Two ordinary people who found extraordinary healing through nature, community, and the courage to try a different path. We are Emily and Michael Johnson, Tribal Detox practitioners, educators, and lifelong students of natural healing. Like many people who find their way to Kambo, our journey began when conventional answers weren’t creating the changes we were searching for. Through our own experiences with chronic health challenges, inflammation, emotional stress, and personal transformation, we discovered the power of reconnecting with the body’s innate ability to heal. Today, through Loving Kambo, we provide a safe, supportive, and educational environment for individuals interested in learning about Kambo and other traditional wellness practices. We believe informed choice, personal responsibility, and compassionate guidance are essential parts of any healing journey. Our approach is grounded, practical, and free from dogma. We work with people from all walks of life—including veterans, first responders, parents, professionals, and those simply seeking a deeper connection with themselves. Whether someone is exploring Kambo for the first time or looking to deepen an existing practice, our goal is to help them feel informed, supported, and empowered. In addition to private sessions, we regularly host educational events, community discussions, and introductory workshops designed to help people learn about Kambo in a welcoming, judgment-free environment. More than anything, we believe healing happens in connection—with ourselves, with others, and with the natural world around us. Serving Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Missouri, and surrounding regions.

The Process

STEP

1

Step 1: Consultation & Screening Every journey begins with a conversation. We connect by phone or in person to discuss your health history, medications, goals, and any potential contraindications. This gives us an opportunity to determine whether Kambo is an appropriate fit for you and allows you to ask questions about the process before scheduling a session.
STEP

Step 2: Preparation & Session On the day of your session, we review your intentions, answer any remaining questions, and prepare your body for the experience. Small superficial points, often called “gates,” are created on the surface of the skin so the Kambo can be applied. Throughout the session, your comfort and safety are closely monitored, and the process is tailored to your individual needs and experience level.
STEP

Step 3: Guided Experience Kambo is typically applied in stages, allowing us to observe how your body responds and make adjustments as needed. Every experience is unique. We remain present throughout the process, providing support, encouragement, and a safe environment while your body works with the peptides found in Kambo.

Step 4: Recovery & Integration After your session, we allow time for rest, hydration, and reflection. We discuss your experience, answer questions, and offer guidance to support your integration process. Healing is a journey, not a single event, and we remain available for follow-up support as needed.

3x3 Ceremony/Warriors Run

What is a 3x3 Session? A 3x3 is one of my favorite ways to work with Kambo because it gives us time to build a relationship with the process instead of rushing through it. A 3x3 consists of three rounds of Kambo, with the dot count gradually increasing each round. This can be done all in one day or spread out over three consecutive days, depending on your goals, experience level, and what feels right for your body. The beauty of a 3x3 is that each round teaches us something. As the dots increase, we have an opportunity to listen more deeply, observe how your body responds, and allow the experience to unfold naturally. It’s not about seeing how many dots you can handle or pushing through discomfort. It’s about creating space for a deeper relationship with Kambo—and with yourself. Many people find that a 3x3 offers an opportunity for greater awareness, clarity, and connection. By slowing down and working progressively, we can honor the wisdom of the body and the lessons that reveal themselves along the way. A 3x3 isn’t about doing more Kambo. It’s about spending more time with Kambo. Three rounds. A few more dots each time. More listening. More learning. More opportunity to discover what your body may have been trying to tell you all along.

Kambo Q&A · June 13, 2026

🐸 Sometimes healing begins with a conversation. If you’ve been curious about Kambo, natural wellness, or simply exploring new ways to support your body and mind, come see us at The Wondering Mind on Saturday, June 13th from 10 AM–2 PM. This is a relaxed, come-and-go event where you can ask questions, learn, connect, and decide if Kambo might be a tool worth exploring on your own journey. No pressure. No sales pitch. Just real conversation and education. ✨ We look forward to meeting you. — Emily & Michael Johnson, Loving Kambo 💚🐸
