I have been working consistently with psychedelics since 2009. During that time I have journeyed and participated in too many ceremonies to count. Although my primary spiritual practice for the last decade has been focused primarily with Ayahuasca (a brew that comes from the Brazilian Amazon), I have noteable first hand experience with many of the other psychedelic medicines including LSD, MDMA, Psilocybin, Iboga and more recently Ketamine. My mission is to be an ally throughout the entire process by providing holistic support before, during, and after your journey. With over a decade of experience holding space within medicine ceremonies; I offer a hands-off approach with a focus on safety and harm reduction. This allows the inner healing intelligence of these medicines to take center stage while giving you the tools and support you need to navigate your experience within a solid container for deep inner work. I am not a Shaman or a Guide, just an honest brother with a heart centered focus on compassion and a great deal of practical experience holding space with psychedelic medicines. My service is an honest, above board, legal business conducted with integrity, accountability and confidentiality.

The Process

STEP

Meet & Greet Everything starts with your 40 minute Discovery Call. This is where we will be getting to know each other and will begin to explore if my services and approach are a good fit. We will discuss your vision for a psychedelic journey and I will try to answer any questions or concerns you might have. We will also cover a variety of topics including important safety and legal information, cost of services, medicine choice options, dosage and some basic details about your location and the space you have available for the journey. If at the end of this call you would like to proceed further, I will email you a Psychedelic Safety Assessment form to get the process going.

STEP

Psychedelic Safety Some psychedelic compounds have specific contraindications with certain pharmaceutical medications as well as protocols for individuals with certain health conditions. Because of this we need to ensure your safety by having you fill out a Psychedelic Safety Assessment form. Once complete, simply return the form via email. It is extremely important that you answer the questions honestly. After reviewing your forms, I will send you an email explaining any concerns I have (if any). In some cases, one particular psychedelic medicine might be a better choice over another depending on the medications and health conditions you are working with.

Let’s Get Started! If you’ve made it this far, congratulations! You’ve just taken a big step in your journey! Psychedelic medicines do not work like other medications. People often report their journey starts in this stage even though they haven’t yet consumed any medicine. As bizarre as this sounds, I suggest paying close attention to all of the happenings in your life from this point forward to see if you can feel this energetic change. I will be calling you soon to create the schedule for the entire process. From this point forward you will have full Text & Email support throughout the entire process.

Create the Schedule Here are the items we will schedule: One Hour - Initial Preparation Call One Hour - Second Preparation Call (usually the day before the journey) A Third Preparation Call is available (if needed) The Journey (generally 8 to 10 hours) One Hour - Initial Integration Call (usually the day after the journey) One Hour - Second Integration Call A Third Integration Call is available (if needed) I will be sending you text reminders of each of the schedule items above 24 hours in advance of each of these as they come up to keep us on-track.

Initial Preparation Call This is where we will discuss at length your intentions for your psychedelic journey. Often there is something that is calling or guiding us toward a psychedelic encounter. I will offer gentle inquiries to help you identify what it is you want to learn, discover, release, achieve, create, attract, etc. We will also discuss logistics regarding your medicine of choice, dosage, what kind of experience you are seeking, and the practical aspects of the space to ensure we can create a proper container. Finally, I will do my best to address any questions or concerns you might have. For a more in-depth look at the preparation process I suggest reading through my “Preparation” page. Please note, I cannot provide psychedelic medicine. You must acquire this yourself ahead of the journey.

STEP

Second Preparation Call This is where we will get into the specifics of the journey. We will discuss topics like how to prepare your space, privacy requirements, music playlist, suggestions for food before & after, and any other things you might need to stay comfortable, feel safe and able to focus inward for the duration of your journey. We will also discuss navigation tools that can help you stay grounded and focused such as meditative scanning techniques, breathing practices, movement, candles, pictures of loved ones, or other meaningful things that will facilitate your journey. (Third Preparation Call is available (if needed)

STEP

Journey Session I will arrive 1 to 2 hours ahead of the start time to help you prepare for your session. We will confirm that you have everything you need before getting started. Here is a general format for the typical journey: Smudge - I recommend a light smudge of the space and having it available throughout the journey. If you have a prefered smudge, we can use that or I have some I will bring as a backup. Open - Having an official opening & closing of sacred space is an important and ancient practice that supports us to engage with the medicine with clear limits and boundaries. If you feel called I have a variety of non-denominational prayers we can use to open the ceremony. Alternatively we can do an exercise where you verbally affirm your intentions. Or we can just sit in silence for 10 minutes, it’s your choice. Journey - Congratulations! This is where you will embark on your journey and begin to navigate the experience. We will get you set up to be as comfortable as possible and start with very gentle music at the beginning of the soundtrack. I will remain present and attentive with you throughout the entire session. For a more in-depth look at what to expect during your journey, I suggest reading through my “Navigation” page. Close - The closing of your psychedelic journey is very important. If prayers or affirmations were used to open the space, I recommend repeating those at the end. We want to make sure you are well grounded and able to function such that you can go about your day/evening in a good way. Smudge - It’s a good idea to use a light smudge to clear the space before returning it to normal use. Check-in - We will do a 30 minute minimum pre-integration check-in before we wrap things up. I will not leave until we are both comfortable and feel you are ready to handle the world on your own. We will also review a short list of recommendations I have for containing and preserving your delicate state over the hours and days that follow.

STEP

Initial Integration Call (Ideally this will happen the day following your journey) This is the call where we will begin to unpack your experience. We will dive deep into the lessons, healing, visions, realizations & insights you might have had during your journey. Every psychedelic experience is unique and deeply personal. We will explore where we can ascribe meaning from the mysterious nature of your experience and translate it to the healing and/or transformation within you and into your daily life. STEP

Second Integration Call This call usually happens about a week after the journey. We will check-in about how you are feeling about your life post the journey. At this point the “afterglow” is usually starting to wear off and is an excellent time to reaffirm your intentions and stay connected to the lessons from your session. (Third Integration Call is available (if needed)
