Clarice Baumgartner, MD is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician with over fifteen years of clinical experience treating the full spectrum of adult illness, to include anxiety, depression, chronic pain, substance use disorders and more. She has worked in adult medicine in and out of the hospital and has had extensive experience with end-of-life care. She founded Physician Psychedelic as she is passionate about how evidence-based breakthrough treatments can be used to treat the root cause of these mental health ailments, rather than simply treating symptoms of disease. As a medical doctor, she can offer a wholistic and scientific approach to care, ensuring that treatments are pursued with a person’s entire medical profile in mind. Safety and harm reduction are key. She is trained in the use of ketamine for various conditions and has an interest in emerging psychedelic medicines.
The Process
STEP
1
Step 1: Complete an assessment form - if you are deemed ineligible for ketamine, there will be no charge to you
Step 2: Telehealth Medical evaluation- payment required prior to session
Step 3: Ketamine prescribed if eligible- it will be mailed directly to you
Step 5: Sublingual ketamine reatment happens with your therapist or at a retreat; if you do not have a therapist we can connect you with one. Intramuscular ketamine happens at our downtown center or in the location of your choice for a transportation fee.
