My name is Carly, and I've always felt a deep calling to support others on their journey to healing. With experience in drug and alcohol rehabilitation and active participation in peer support groups, I've cultivated a genuine warmth and openness that extends both to my personal life and professional work. In my practice, I strive to provide a compassionate, safe, and non-judgmental environment where individuals can explore, grow, and heal.
Psilocybin has played a transformative role in my personal healing journey. It has given me the opportunity to make significant positive changes in my life, such as reducing my reliance on antidepressants and addressing the underlying causes of my struggles. With five years experience in peer support groups and fifteen years of talk therapy, I bring a wealth of personal and professional insight to my work.
I've witnessed firsthand the profound potential for healing and have immersed myself into this work. I have also read the research being done and have heard people’s testimonials, which have furthered my belief of its transformative potential. Motivated by my own desire for change and improvement in my mental health journey, I've embraced psilocybin as a valuable tool for personal growth and well-being.

The Process
STEP
1
The potential client and I will have an initial phone consultation to discuss if psilocybin is a viable option for them, the cost of treatment, and answer any questions they may have.
STEP
2
I prioritize thorough preparation for your psilocybin experience, which may involve multiple sessions. I take my time to ensure you're well-prepared, as I believe this is crucial for a successful journey. You'll complete and review a packet of required state forms.
Together, we'll focus on your intentions, deeply understanding the changes you seek and envisioning how your life will transform. While psilocybin can enhance brain connectivity, it is ultimately your intention, willingness to relax and change, and desire for a different life that drive the transformation.
We'll also discuss the setting, what the client would like to have in the room during the administration to make them feel comfortable and grounded.
STEP
3
On the administration day, we will talk about the intention and go over some breathing exercises. Once the mushrooms are consumed, it is encouraged to sit or lie down with the eye mask on. It takes about 20 minutes for the effects to begin. I will remind the client to focus on their breath and let their mind wander. Encouraging them to explore their thoughts, feelings and sensations without judgment. This is a perfect opportunity to reflect on one's emotions, memories and insights. I provide a journal for each client so if they feel called to write down their experience they can, or they can verbally tell me and I will write it down for them.
As a reminder psilocybin experiences can vary from person to person. The session typically lasts 2 to 6 hours and when the effects start to dissipate you will go home with your previously agreed upon transportation.
STEP
4
A few days after the client and I will meet for an integration session to review what happened during the experience. We will discuss the insights and how these can be incorporated into the client's life. I encourage having a support group and/or a therapist to meet with so the client can continue to integrate the experience.
