Since 2018, Ayni has dedicated herself to the study of entheogenic sacraments, specifically Kambo, Bufo, Ayahuasca, and Iboga. She has honed her ability to hold sacred space for ceremonies involving entheogens, recognizing the transformative potential they hold. She firmly believes that every person possesses the inner capacity to heal and embrace their true, authentic selves. Her unwavering commitment lies in providing guidance and support to others on their personal journey of self-discovery, employing an array of tools and approaches to facilitate this process.

The application of the kambo frog secretion is a very simple and relatively painless process that begins with mixing it with water, dividing the paste into small dots, roughly an eighth of an inch in diameter.
Superficial third-degree burns are made by the tip of a small glowing vine, that are only deep enough to remove the epidermis. Kambo is then applied onto the burns or “gates” and thus absorbed into the body subcutaneously, moving through the lymphatic & nervous systems.

Once Kambo is applied to the skin most people experience warmth of the upper body and face, along with an increased heart rate. Some will have swelling of the face, ears, and slight swelling of the throat. Blood pressure will rise and then fall, at which point one can experience nausea and purge. The unpleasant effects are strong and last about 20 minutes. During this process, one can experience a purgative effect and can expect to feel nauseous, vomit, and have a bowel movement. However, purging can also include sweating, yawning, crying, laughing, and sometimes even fainting.
It is helpful to relax into these sensations and focus on one's breath. Most people feel back to normal after an hour or so. Following treatment, many people report feeling an increase in their vital energy, a sense of peace, and euphoria.
Kambo is an embodied process to the inside and learning to be present and aware of yourself. It also serves as a somatic tool that teaches us to be in an active relationship and participation with our bodies' wisdom. It builds our capacity to feel sensation and emotion, regulates our nervous system, and supports us to develop resilience to the intensity of life.

Within my Kambo practice, I am committed to providing a trauma-informed framework that acknowledges the profound impact trauma can have on individuals.
Trauma often stems from experiences that are too rapid and overwhelming for our system to adequately process, leaving lasting imprints on our well-being.
In light of this understanding, I firmly reject the notion that trauma can be effectively addressed by subjecting individuals to additional traumatic events. Instead, I embrace an approach that fosters healing through compassion, respect, and a deep sense of safety. I believe that the path to recovery lies in creating a space where you can explore and navigate your healing journey at a pace that feels right for you.
