Hi, I'm AJ (she/they) and I am an Oregon Licensed Psilocybin Facilitator, award-winning Intimacy Educator, intersectional feminist, karaoke lover, and mom. Even though I have been a Portlander for 18 years, I am still a nerdy Midwesterner at heart. I love holding space for people from all walks of life but especially love working with those who are new to psychedelics. My magical powers include strong intuition, dismantling shame, and helping people discover their most empowered and authentic selves.
With 13 years experience as a Sex Educator & Intimacy Coach, a Masters degree in Psychology, and 15+ years providing peer support, I've been holding space and encouraging others for most of my adult life. I feel honored that I get to do this work.
I am a Lead Psilocybin Facilitator and COO of Fractal Health PDX and I am excited to offer Therapeutic Macrodose Sessions and group work in our beautiful licensed service center (Fractal Soul) in Beaverton, Oregon. I am a proudly queer-affirming, kink-aware, and polyamory-knowledgeable provider.

The Process

1
Eligibility & Consultation
Fill out the eligibility form on fractalsoulpdx.com to see if you are a candidate for psilocybin services. Make sure to select me (AJ Zimpfer) as your preferred provider and then select a consultation time on the next screen.
Your consultation call is a time to determine if we're a good fit for one another and to answer all of your questions.

2
Intake & Preparation
Intake involves completing and reviewing required paperwork online (Fractal Soul uses a HIPAA-Compliant software called Healthie). After that comes your preparation session, to get you ready for your psilocybin journey. We will establish agreements, set intentions, talk about dosing, and co-create your psilocybin ceremony (e.g. selecting music and lighting preferences).
These sessions are usually conducted online through Healthie/Zoom.
STEP

Journey
At Fractal Soul, we sometimes call this a Phoenix session, but it is also known as a journey day, macrodose, administration day, or medicine session. It is the day when you consume psilocybin at a licensed service center. Please set aside a whole day for this and plan on being at the center for approximately 6 hours.
I will be with you from beginning to end to hold space and ensure your safety. Each experience is unique, and I align my level of guidance to your specific needs and wishes.

Integration
The purpose of integration is to deepen the journey experience and create lasting change. While many people consider the medicine session the pinnacle of their quest for healing, integration work is just as important. We will use this time to talk about how you've been, debrief your journey, discuss insights and themes that arose, and dive into specialized integration ideas.
Most psilocybin service packages I offer come with a 60 minute online integration session, but you can always add more integration sessions a la carte!

Macrodose Therapeutic Psilocybin Journey Package
Through Fractal Health, I offer fully customizable packages to fit your budget and needs. Most clients opt for the Standard Package, which includes: -One 30 minute paperwork review session (on Zoom) -One 90 minute journey preparation session (on Zoom, unless other accommodations are requested) -One therapeutic psilocybin administration session at Fractal Soul (usually lasts ~6 hours) in the journey room of your choice -One 60 minute Integration Session (Zoom) For those with anxiety or who may be new to psychedelics and want more preparation, more prep sessions can be added to your package. Experienced with psychedelics or you've already had a session at another center within the past year? Relationship and intimacy consulting helps clients and their partners learn new ways of relating and understanding themselves and one another. Most sessions are conducted on Zoom (though in-person is an option for those local to Portland). If you choose to do so, you may also include psilocybin micro or macrodose sessions in our Relationship & Intimacy Consulting packages. Please note: My Relationship & Intimacy Consulting services through Fractal Health are not the same as couple's therapy. This service has more of an educational, coaching, and problem solving aspect. It is a wonderful option for people who may be navigating open relationships/polyamory, who are exploring their sexuality, or who need help with repair and rebuilding trust after a relationship rupture.Relationship & Intimacy Consulting (LGBTQ & open relationship friendly)
