Locally Owned and Operated My name is Bradford Champlin, I am the owner and Chief Mycologist at The Mushroom Champ. After experiencing the antidepressant effects of psychoactive fungi for myself, I began seeking out online communities in efforts to connect with other cultivators to learn and absorb as much information as I could about fungi (shoutout The Nook and the Shroomery cast from the ‘90’s!). In 2019 I transitioned from my career as a massage therapist to a full-time mycologist and started The Mushroom Champ. My objective always has been and continues to be to get people growing mushrooms and experiencing the benefits for themselves.

INTRO TO THE NATURAL MEDICINE HEALTH ACT Colorado Prop 122 and SB23-290

In November of 2022, Colorado Proposition 122, also known as the Natural Medicine Health Act (NMHA) passed with 53.6% of voters opting to decriminalize natural psychedelic medicines. Natural medicines include psilocybin mushrooms, DMT containing plants, ibogaine and mescaline containing cacti, excluding peyote (Lophophora williamsii varieties).
