The Huachuma Facilitator Training is a heart-centered, nature-based immersion into working with the sacred cactus medicine known as Huachuma or San Pedro. This training emphasizes presence, patience, and the ability to hold long-duration ceremonial space with grounded awareness and consistency. Huachuma is a very ancient cactus medicine originating from the Andes of South America, with a long history of ceremonial use. This training approaches the work with respect for these traditional roots while maintaining a structured and responsible framework.
Participants develop a direct relationship with the medicine through experiential learning, time in nature, and structured ceremonial practice. The training explores the energetic, emotional, and psychological dimensions of Huachuma while also providing practical guidance on preparation, container integrity, and facilitation awareness. The program is supported by Marla B. Lindner’s direct training through two experienced Huachuma medicine men, providing a grounded and respectful foundation for working with this medicine.
As part of the immersion, participants will also be invited to sit in a Bufo (5-MeO-DMT) ceremony, offering an additional perspective on non-dual states and supporting a broader understanding of working with different medicines and states of consciousness.
Unlike faster-acting medicines, Huachuma unfolds gradually. This training focuses on developing the ability to hold space over extended periods, recognize subtle shifts in participants, and maintain a stable and attentive presence throughout the duration of the experience.
The program also introduces microdosing awareness, including how it may support integration, emotional processing, and ongoing connection to the work, with an emphasis on responsibility and individualized application.
Rooted in respect for traditional approaches while grounded in modern safety and integration practices, this training prepares facilitators to work with Huachuma in a way that is structured, responsible, and aligned with the needs of those they serve.
